The Government has announced that British victims who have been injured due to terrorism anywhere in the world will be able to claim compensation form the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme in the UK.

This recognises such attacks which are now common place and that the host countries cannot and will not compensate foreign nationals for this type of harm.

The Scheme will compensate victims who have been injured at any time over the last 10 years.
